Kirsti utilizes an integrated person centered approach to assist those who are struggling with mild impairment in cognitive, emotional or behavioral functioning, as well as clients seeking to enhance and expand their life satisfaction and experience. With genuine caring and nonjudgmental acceptance Kirsti works with her clients to develop a strong working alliance as they explore the stumbling blocks that sometimes arise on life’s journey. Kirsti’s hope is that her clients feel a strong sense of resilience, strength, hope and optimism at the conclusion of their time together.

Kirsti was born and raised in Norway and upon graduating from Augustana University College worked in administrative roles for both the Norwegian and Canadian governments. Kirsti is passionate about helping others and has a special focus on first responders and their families. Previously Kirsti helped develop informative and restorative retreats for police officers and their spouses. 

Kirsti believes in lifelong learning and is currently enrolled as a Doctoral student in hopes of obtain her PsyD in Clinical Psychology. Kirsti graduated from the Kelowna College of Professional Counselling with a Diploma in Applied Psychology and Counselling, with a specialization in Professional Counselling. Kirsti’s designation is granted through the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. Kirsti is also a Counselling Therapist and a Community & Workplace Traumatologist. These designations are granted through the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta and the Traumatology Institute respectively.

Fee for individual sessions:  $150+gst

Fee for couples sessions: $170+gst (other fees may apply)
