“I am a firm believer in self-compassion as a healing agent. I also strongly believe that each of us has value and while we may sometimes lose sight of it, our value does not diminish. My goal is to assist and empower clients on their way to rediscovering their innate worth.
In addition, I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore the challenges they face. In this process, I help build on the tools and talents clients already have and explore new strategies. Together we discover unique, innate resources and determine how to use them to live happier and healthier lives. Our time together is a safe place for clients to reflect, process, learn, and practice new skills.
Prior to counselling I worked in the areas of childcare and also domestic violence which has contributed to my understanding of family dynamics, abuse, trauma, and attachment. In my spare time I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time in nature.
